Charter listings
- Charter websites. Business names, phone numbers and any trip details are confirmed on each charter's own website.
- Public business listings help us find charters to check. We don't publish their ratings, reviews, photos or map pins.
Tides, water and weather
- Tide predictions: NOAA Tides & Currents (CO-OPS). The tide lookup asks NOAA for predictions for the date you pick.
- Water temperature: NOAA CO-OPS water temperature observations from the nearest station with enough data, averaged by month. Each town page names the station and years used.
- Air temperature and rainy days: NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals, 1991–2020. A rainy day is a day with 0.1 inch of rain or more.
- Sunrise and sunset: calculated for each town with NOAA's solar calculation method, for the middle of each month.
Averages describe a typical month, not a forecast. Check a marine forecast before your trip.
